Koppelteken
‘Koppelteken’ is a multidisciplinary exhibition. ‘Koppelteken’ or in English the dash refers to our cultural identity and the artists exhibiting their work are from a diverse cultural background. We don’t belong to one specific group and this dash determines how we navigate through the Dutch society. No one can clothe themselves with a different identity, thus no one can truly experience what it means to live in the realm of the dash. All artists within this exhibition will share their own personal stories and experiences. Our goal is to make the public aware that one’s cultural identity does not define them, yet is a part of them as individuals.
